please don't stop,

we like the feedback we were just wondering if there was a reason you did it every week or if you would be able to spread it out to a month, we were worried it would look like we weren't interested in the issues you bring up and were thinking a month would give better results and also give you a chance to have more examples, or to see if there was a reason for things being a certain way. I really should have waited to post until I had some sleep >.<

As this site is not affiliated with Mythril Falls, Flower should be able to post whenever she wishes. It's great the DM's are paying attention to it. I'm glad to hear that changes are being implemented. While I don't play here, I find it encouraging for those that do play 3.5, but asking Flower to tone back the reviews to monthly doesn't settle well with me though.

Just my two cents.

NS

To me it looks like the staff there take the reviews here very seriously and make changes immediately based on player response. The request seems less like "stop complaining every week!" to something more like "we're trying to change the game based on your suggestions, but they're coming a bit too fast for us to implement them- slow down a smidgen?".

As one of the few games that seem to make genuine attempts to fix what players are unhappy about rather than log in and justify it "that's just how things are here", I don't find the request unsettling.

Downside (there usually is at least one) is that the scenes seem to have very confusing reward systems. 1700xp was handed out for finding a body and throwing up and from what I understand the scene was less than two hours long. Now...I wouldn’t care so much...but the scene where we helped the kobold we played in for 6 hours and got 200xp. So I’m pretty confused as to how this XP handing out stuff works. 1700xp for two hours seems a bit much and less than 200xp for six hours seems like you worked really hard for very little.

the DMs will get together and discuss defining XP for players to better understand such hand outs and DMs have a reference, though this is just in discussion at the moment as such things can be abused, i will also look over both scenes and the forum postings, and i will talk to the DMs to find out about the XP for both

XP aside, moving to gold rewards. I personally have had no problems having a pretty good xp/gold ratio for my lvl. However, one player has told me outright that she has gained about 1000 gold after her initial 1000 (so 2000 total) and she’s preparing to (or may have already) earned lvl 5. I’m not sure if anyone else has had this issue (as I haven’t) but I wanted to bring it up cause I’ve heard her complain about it a few times now.
as far as i know this player hasn't mentioned this to any DMs (could be mistaken though, i haven't gotten hold of all the DMs yet) if the player would FPM me we can discuss the problem, and the DMs will start looking for signs of this in charecter sheets, if it turns out to be a trend we will discuss ways to adjust this

Other DM issues:
Sven -
WJ and i will talk with sven read over everything and get with you about your experience

I’d say, that despite my irritating experience with Sven this week, that this chat is worth a shot and has a lot of potential.
thank you for the feedback both positive and negative

Wanderer - I don't post the feedback here just to get a reply from you or anyone else. I post it so that other people that might be interested in the chat have a feedback available from someone else that plays there if they happen to check this forum. I didn't mean for it to be taken otherwise. I'll stop though. I didn't mean to create more work for you.as I've already stated we do not want you to stop giving feedback, as you can see feedback is not commonly given so having regular feedback is a novel experience to begin with, but to get weekly feedback was a completely foreign concept, and it didn't occur to us that the feedback could be used for more than letting us know what needs fixing or is working well >.< i was trying to figure out why the feedback was set at weekly intervals and was wondering if it wasn't important would be of more benefit to be split up monthly, this was not intended to upset or tell you how you should do things, merely my thoughts on the matter if it works better for you to do weekly then we just keep an eye out for weekly posts or realize that we will have more than one post to read over if we don't, as i said we do appreciate your feedback and do not wish you to stop.

thank you for your input, you are correct that flower can post whatever she likes, i never intended to come across as telling someone what they can and cannot do, i was just trying to understand and throw my two cents out there, i'm sorry if i caused anybody upset or offence with my comments it was never my intent to do so, and i hope i have since corrected any misunderstandings with this

thank you, that is very close to what i was going for and never intended to come off as "stop your complaining" next time i will avoid posting until i'm sure i have things clearly understandable to avoid the confusion

once again, everyone i am really sorry for giving the impression that the feedback was unwelcome it was not my aim at all. Flower, I'm sorry for upsetting you with my post, i hope you decide to continue your feedback in whatever form makes you feel most comfortable.

thank you for your time and attention to our thread.

Hard to give much of an update. The chat's database has been down for some time and it doesn't appear as if that will be changing anytime soon. It's been about two weeks, possibly more? sense it went away. I'm not totally walking away yet as i still check the forums it just is annoying for everyone that the database simply disappeared.

They appear to be willing to do something like a restart with higher lvl folks to those that had been playing there before the issue, which is a nice way of going about trying to make up for the technical difficulties.

Future commentary will have to wait until more is known as far as if anything is going to happen with it.

They still allow people to play but as it's all 'go to the tavern' with no hope of adventures (at least when i was still trying to attend a couple weeks back) so I haven't been there much. I hope things get worked out however as this place still has a lot of potential in my eyes.
